Very rare and desirable 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T U code with its original engine, trans, fender tag, and build sheet. This R/T is a great project car to restore because it has its original parts, great colors, and options, including factory a/c. This car has been off road since the 80's, and it was found sitting underneath a cover in Louisiana. The engine turns over, and it powered right up when a battery was hooked to it.
It will need a total restoration, including floor pans, trunk pans, lower quarters, firewall patch, and partial roof skin. The frame is in good condition, and the grille is in near mint condition.
It's close to impossible to find a true U code Challenger R/T with all its original gear--restored or project. Easy $75,000-$90,000 car when finished (and today's prices are going up).
