1969 Plymouth Roadrunner
This 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner is a rare find for several reasons. First, it’s a numbers matching engine, 4 speed transmission and original fender tag car. Secondly, it was ordered with the A14 Spring Special option which explains the unusual color combination of paint codes 99 and A37 which are the codes required for Bahama Yellow. Also, white interior and Black vinyl top.
This car is in very good condition for an affordable restoration. Solid floors and Frame. Trunk pan center should be replaced. Body panels are straight but have some filler. The original engine needs a full re-build, but its complete.
The car is being sold in its as-is condition for the price of $15,000, but we can take it to any level the customer wants. We could get it to just a safe driver needing paint and interior. This would include a fresh built engine, new brakes and fuel system for $22,500. If the customer wanted the interior re-done the price would jump to $27,500. If a full high quality repaint was requested the price would increase to approximately $42,500.
These restored matching number 4 speed cars are topping $50,000 with the right colors. Bahama Yellow is probably the most desirable color one can have on the 69 Roadrunner. The Car is scheduled to have the engine rebuilt in December if not sold.
*We highly recommend each car is inspected by a third party prior to purchase.
