Vintage but not forgotten.
This is a 1969 Dodge Superbee with a 383, 4-speed, and N96 Ramcharger hood. It's a R4 red Superbee with a white top, white interior, and white bumblebee stripe. A39 fender tag code got you the white hat special N96 Ramcharger hood, Tic Toc Clock, Hood Pins, Rear stripe, White Vinyl Top, and Blacked out Hood Scoops. The Fender Tag is intact and matches all body numbers on the car.
This is a PROJECT car that will need a total restoration, but what a cool one to do. The engine in the car is an unstuck 1965 413, and the 4-speed transmission is from 1968. The driveshaft is with the car, and it has a 8-3/4 3.23 suregrip rearend.
It's missing the front bench seat, however it does have a useable rear seat top and bottom. All the frame rails are solid (see pics), although the rear bumper cross member has some rust. The rear floors are good, but will probably need work on the front floors. The firewall and under the hood is solid, including the inner fenders. The front fenders and doors are probably usable.
Like most of these 50-year-old cars, it will need quarters and a trunk floor as it looks like someone tried to install a fuel cell. Most of the sheet metal it needs is available from AMD. All of the glass in the car, as well as the trim and the dash is mostly complete. It also has all of the correct large drum brakes (front and rear) as well as a front sway bar.
The Ramcharger Hood ductwork is intact, but it's missing the air cleaner (also available aftermarket). This is a car that deserves a full and proper restoration--not just a green automatic Superbee. It's a Heavy Hitter being Red with Triple White N96 and 4-speed, White Hat Special/AKA Spring Special. The wheels and tires that are on the car, DO NOT GO WITH THE CAR. It will have steel wheels with tires that hold air.
