1968 Plymouth Barracuda Formula S

The holy grail of the second-generation Barracuda was the 13 second racer, 1968 340 4-speed Formula S.
 
The 4 speed cars were offered with a special high-performance cam and 3:91 gears. We found this one severely rusted, but it doesn’t change the fact that it’s an all original 68 in Pennsylvania. The owner passed away about 30 years ago, and the family had it sitting under cover outside. 
 
Although much of the sheet metal is shot, it’s showing only 50,000 miles. It has a very nice interior, matching number engine and transmission, fender tag, and the checkout sheet from.
 
Currently, we have no plans on resurrecting it right now, but it’s just a matter of time. Finding and saving these magnificent vehicles is the most fun part of the business. If someone wants to buy it and have it restored, we can move up its restoration date.
