1968 Ford Mustang GT Fastback

1968 Ford Mustang GT Fastback, this J-code 302 car is a high option car with , top loader 4 speed, factory a/c (disabled), fold-down backseat, power steering and dual exhausts.
This GT has been in the family for a long time. Father passed away and left his pride and Joy to his son. The son has a plan for the use of the money from a sale, so its been consigned to us to sell.
 
The car has had some minor modifications including customer wheels and 18”tires, Traction bars and the front buckets have been swapped out for some comfy driving buckets.
The factory buckets are easy to find and the upholstery is in stock with every manufacturer.
 
The car is finished in that beautiful Acapulco Blue with white stripes. Paint condition is fair as the paint is blistered all over the car from what appears to be a bad prep-job.
Underneath the pans are rock-solid. Quarter panels and fenders look to be rust free. Its possible there is some underlying rust near the Sail Panel air vents on both sides.
Car comes with Marti-report identifying the car as a true GT car with factory air.
Originally ordered as an automatic car and was converted to factory 4 speed.
