1968 Dodge Coronet R/T

We’re finally starting on this fantastic 1968 Dodge Coronet R/T project that we have had in the waiting for over 10 years.
 
This magnificent car is a full-numbers matching 4 speed-car with all original drive train, the correct sales order stamp on the rear quarter panel, and the original fender tag.
 
Although not a high option car by any standard, it is a true black car with a white interior.
 
There are few cars in history that wear black nicer than the Coronet R/T. Add a white interior and white bumblebee stripe, and you have a work of art.
 
The original engine and transmission have been rebuilt and have receipts to show the very high end and complete rebuild.
 
We might be adding front disc brakes and power steering to this beauty because the sheer power of the 440 Magnum and 4-speed transmission would feel safer with those upgrades.
 
This car is so original that it even has the 3:54 differential tag in place.
 
In 1968 the Dodge Scat Pack was born and the Coronet R/T with 4-speed transmission was the pack leader.
