The date code correct 67 396 engine has received a very high performance build with 10 to 1 compression forged pistons, fully balanced assembly, complete head rebuild, bored .30 and line bored. Estimated 450 horsepower from this smooth street engine makes this convertible a lot of fun to drive. Transmission was completely re-built and the 12 bolt differential has received all new 355 posi gears when it was completely rebuilt. All new cooling, brakes and fuel systems. Plus, it has power steering.
