1965 Chevrolet Impala SS

We just took delivery of a very rare and desirable 1965 Chevrolet Impala SS with very cool 425 HP, 396, Muncie 4 speed and 12 Bolt Rear End.
This is definitely a project car, but we are working on it to get it to where it’s a driver.
This incredible car is one of about 1580 built, but less than 10 with amazing options like factory A/C, Telescopic Wheel, Power Disc Brakes, 7000 RPM Tach and Center console.
Current 396 is not the original block but we have sourced the correct block and we hope to have it here a in a few weeks.
The 1965 Impala was the most popular car Chevrolet had built at the time with over one million units sold.
It was the first-year body change and it was difficult to get one off the Dealer Lot because they were all pre-sold. Its no wonder with its sleek fastback and iconic taillights that this car was so popular. The early 65’s came with 409 for the HP version but early in the year the more powerful 396’s was installed. Most had just the stock 325 HP rating, but ones like this, known as the L-78 version, were also available at extra cost.

This car is not for sale yet but will be available as a restoration car that SMG will restore for the client. It would take about 9 months to finish and be well worth the wait.
