1989 Dodge Ramcharger
This is Richard Cabela’s 1989 Dodge Ramcharger. It was a special order, concept truck that was built especially for Cabela and presented to him by Michael G. Kelley. Kelley was the national advertising manager for Dodge Truck.
This custom order includes so many amazing features: a glove box plaque, one off two-tone bronze color combo with fender tag codes denoting colors; one off keychain, and many other cool adds. It was sold in Sydney, Nebraska in 1989, and we have the pictures of it with the Cabela family and the original title for additional proof.
It has a 5.9 (360) fuel injected engine with automatic transmission. This Ramcharger is loaded with air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, power windows, power locks, cruise control, a custom spare tire rack, mopar rear fog lights, and a front grill push guard.
It is a 4x4 with warn locking hubs. Plus, all matching numbers drivetrain and body. It was a concept vehicle used for exec fishing and recreational excursions. The vehicle has received an extremely high quality “show” paint job, new weatherstrips, windshield, door seals, steering shaft from Borgeson, new shocks, new headliner, and some crazy mopar fogs in the back for hooking up your boat, as well as roof mounted fishing rod holders.
*We highly recommend each vehicle is inspected by a third party prior to purchase.
