There is no doubt that in 1969 the Plymouth Roadrunner was the most popular muscle car to come out of Detroit. Voted Motor Trend Car of the year, the Roadrunners were flying out of the showrooms due to the popularity of the low price, the Warner Brothers performance, and an incredible promotion.

In 1969, Plymouth offered the Air Grabber (Coyote Duster) ram air hood option that added a lot of value to the price. Consequently, it’s a rare option to find in these cars today.

This 1969 Roadrunner checks off all the boxes for value, desirability, and performance: it retains its completely original numbers matching drivetrain and fender tag; it was optioned with the Air Grabber and 4-speed transmission that is mated to a suregrip differential; and it has the A4 silver with black performance hood treatment, which was probably the rarest body color.

This car has been restored with a high-performance build engine and transmission, all new mechanicals, and 3” exhaust. The body and paint work is extremely high quality on a solid rust free frame. A project car could not be restored for the price of this rare beauty--a paint job like this one would be over $25,000 at any shop.

Summary: 1969 Roadrunner, A4 silver, bench seat, 4-speed, air grabber, matching numbers drivetrain with original fender tag.

Priced at $69,500.
