1968 Dodge Charger RT
Very rare find in Tennessee sitting in a garage since 1982. This 1968 Dodge Charger RT is showing 42,000 miles and by the looks of the sheetmetal, it’s got a better than fair chance that it’s the original mileage.
This Charger is still wearing its yellow paint, recently installed black vinyl top, and original black vinyl upholstery. When the seats were removed, there were two nicely preserved build sheets in the springs.
Most of the original stickers are still on the car, including the tire pressure—one on the driver’s side door jamb. Radiator core and trunk numbers match the original fender tag still on the inner fender.
The original 68 engine was replaced some time back with a 69 440 and has the correct intake, air cleaner, and oil pan.
The car even has its original Magnum 500 chrome road wheels. Engine and trans operate properly. New fuel and brake systems make this car a good driver.
The frame, floors, and pans all look solid. Around the back window is also in very good condition, which is even more evidence that this car sat inside all its “stored” life.
